Today Year 6 went to visit the Time and Tide, where we learnt more about what life was like in WW1 and WW2. Especially the roles of: the soldiers in the trenches and life as a volunteer for the Red Cross in WW1 and life as a housewife and the ARP warden in WW2.
Everybody dressed up and a good time was had by all. When we got back to school we wrote down the key points ready to help us write our recounts later.
Well done to all of Year 6, the staff at the Time and Tide commented on your excellent manners and good behaviour.
