Home Learning Year 3

Welcome to the year 3 home learning page!

3 Hazel so far…

Week 2 – w/c 30.03.20

Please see updated work below.

We have compiled a list of useful websites to support your child’s home learning. This includes links to websites which the children already use at school, as well as some other useful places to play games and practise a range of skills.

As always, we recommend that children are reading as much as possible, and practising spellings and times tables for rapid recall. There are links below to Times Tables Rock Stars and Readiwriter. A link to a website with free online books and quizzing, linked to Accelerated Reader, will follow soon.

They could also keep a diary each day, documenting their activities, thoughts and feelings. They should include conjunctions (if, since, at when, although, because), adverbs and prepositions (during, before, after, behind, in front of, between) to make their sentences longer. Pupils to try and use speech in sentences.

Feel free to look at learning packs in other year groups if your child is struggling or would like a challenge.

Please send us your work so we can mark it and address any errors. If you have any questions about your home learning, please contact the year 3 teaching team, we will reply as soon as we can: Y3@northdenes.norfolk.sch.uk
