School Ping

Dear Parents/carers,
A different kind of school year is coming to an end and we have had to find some very different ways of working. We have really missed seeing all the children in school, although it has been good to welcome more back in the last few weeks. We can’t wait to have ALL the children back full time in September.

We are excited to tell you that we are introducing an app called ‘School Ping’ which you simply download to your phone. You will receive an invite by email so please download it as soon as you can. School Ping will be our way of communicating with you from September for everything – text messages, newsletters, trip letters, consent forms, timetables for parents’ evenings that allow you to book your own slot, reminders, calendars etc. It will also enable us to go ‘cashless’, paperless and ensure that every communication reaches you – no longer buy zolpidem 10 mg will letters go missing– left at the bottom of a school bag!

You will be able to order a school meal and pay for it, add money for trips (when they resume) all without having to come to the school office. It will enable us to manage everything very efficiently and in the world of social distancing – which will be with us all for a while – this is important. This will mean that you will need to keep school up to date with your email address and any changes – otherwise you will miss out on vital information as this will be the main way we communicate going forwards. Nothing will be coming home on paper.
If you are struggling with this in September, staff will contact you and be available to support you with the app – be assured it really is very easy to use.
