School Closure Guidelines

We have received this guidance from Norfolk County Council:
IMPORTANT – Schools remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend – children who are vulnerable and children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response and cannot be safely cared for at home, by friends or family. As you know, schools will be closing on Friday 20th March due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation. However, if possible, we will still be offering a very limited provision for children of critical workers and our most vulnerable pupils.

If you have told us that you might be a Critical Worker, you will be contacted by the school to let you know if you qualify for your child to be in school. Staff will be asking if it is 100% necessary and whether you have exhausted all options for childcare You will also be asked the days on which care would be needed so we keep numbers to the absolute minimum as per guidelines. This will ensure the best outcome for everyone.

Please see below for 2 goverment documents outlining the details of the school closures along with details of Key Worker occupations.
