Wow! We have had an absolutely amazing day out at Fairhaven Water Gardens! We started on the coach, arriving at the gardens to lovely sunshine for a brisk walk through the woodland area. There were great, big Oak trees called the King and Queen Oaks! We stopped at a glade to have a snack and rest our legs. Some of us went bush beating where we found lots of spiders, shield bugs and flies. We then looked through the leaves and woodland floor for other minibeasts (Miss Brooks ran away when we found a HUGE spider in the leaves!) but we weren’t scared!
We went pond dipping and saw a water snail, blood worm and a really cool water flea! We behaved really well and had some lovely comments from the helpers at Fairhaven which made our teachers feel very proud of us.
Check out our photos to see what fun we had!
